Wilsons Engineering is a family run CNC Engineering company based in Bristol.

Wilsons Engineering approached Venture Website Design in 2016 for a website redesign and a new marketing strategy to increase their online presence. Since starting their Managed Plan with Venture, Wilsons have had two redesigns, their latest mobile friendly design being launched in 2018.

Bristol Engineering Website Design Project

Engineering project located in Avon, Bristol, produced a responsive, engaging website to showcase their services. Also focused on winning new business, Wilsons Engineering wanted to investigate the possibility of ranking on the first page for terms such as 'CNC Engineering' and more locally 'CNC Engineering Bristol'. By optimising the website properly and conforming to Search Engines such as Google and Bings practices, this was achieved perfectly. Within 3 months of undertaking the project, Wilsons Engineering ranked successfully for both terms and their website traffic from dozens of unique visitors per month, to hundreds of unique visitors per month.

Note

Unfortunately, Wilsons Engineering stopped their ranking plan in January 2020. The Directors of the Bristol based Engineering firm mistakenly decided that the work we had accomplished by successfully ranking their website to page 1, positon 1 would remain, without any ongoing cost. As of the 21st February 2020, they no longer rank in the top 100 results in Google or Bing for the National term 'CNC Engineering' - they may be returning to a keyword ranking project soon.

After initially being sceptical about a Managed Plan with Venture, we can certainly see the benefits. We have seen an increase in website traffic and the Managed Plan ensures all updates are completed in a timely manner.
