Using Colour
It may sound obvious, but using colourful images will help engage your website visitors. Don't use too much though and use colours that compliment each other. If you don't, your web page can become confused and have a negative effect on your audience. Web visitors spend on average 3 seconds on a website before they move on - make it count! |
Landing Pages
Typically, your home or index page will be the most visited page on your website. You may however want to direct potential customers to certain product pages from social media sites or email marketing campaigns. Introductory, or Landing Pages, should be kept very simple with clear, crisp imagery and call to action click through links to product or service pages. |
Keep it Current
Following on from the Landing Page section, it's important that your landing pages have up to date information present throughout. Sale dates that have passed, or stale content can turn people away from your landing pages and ultimately cost you sales. Visit your landing pages at least once a week to refresh any out-of-date content. |
